Advocacy Issues and Projects
Find the latest updates on bicycle related projects and initiatives in the Columbus area.
Current efforts are being directed at preparing to host the first days of BRAG 2005, Adopt and redevelop local MTB trails,
develop and dessiminate educational materials (aimed at raising awareness of best practices, GA law and the bike, and other essential
'awareness' issues), supporting local bike shops, assisting in efforts to complete the CSU-Downtown rails to trail corridor,
adopting a mile of two hi visibility highways to promote awareness of area bicycling opportunities,
and supporting local authorities in the protection and maintenance of Georgia's premier Riverwalk.
